Wrigleyville Bars Embrace Cubs World Series By Charging $100 Cover

Chicago, IL — The price of baseball just went up in the popular Chicago neighborhood Wrigleyville. Many of the bars have decided to reward customers for their years of business by only charging a $100 cover to watch the Cubs play in the World Series.  Old Style’s have also jumped in price this week to an estimated $17 for a sixteen ounce can.

“For five hundred dollars you can even get your own booth and complementary peanuts.”

George Loukas, owner of The Cubby Bear, “For five hundred dollars you can even get your own booth and complementary peanuts.” George is also renting out his second house in the neighborhood on Airbnb for a modest $850 dollars per night. “It’s not a bad little place, you can almost see the field from the living room,” said Jim, “It even includes half off your first Old Style if you swing into the Cubby Bear.”
