HOLLYWOOD, CA — Shock and awe as audience members at The Politician’s Choice Awards had to bear witness to a painful Oscar acceptance speech. “Wow! I’m in shock right now. Growing up, I used to lie in bed and dream about this moment. I don’t even have words for this.” said the winner pulling out a notecard. “I want to thank Bob Simon & Erin Finkelstein at CAA. She paused, giving the audience some semblence of hope that her speech might be over, only for the suffering to continue. “Brian Mitchell, you are God’s gift to me. Kate Cohen, you are the inspiration beneath my feet.” The award winner then went on to tell a full minute-long story about her parents. She ended the night on a more inspirational note reaching out to all of those in attendance. “To all the young Congressmen and politicians out there, I want to say—sing and dance and don’t let anyone tell you you can’t. Thank you!”
